Snowed Out!

Unfortunately there was really no alternative but to cancel our Irish language day. Iona closed on Friday and no one really knew what would happen, the snow was still coming down heavily on Friday afternoon and I started to get calls and emails from Long Island, New Jersey and Massachusetts. We had no idea how long clean up would take and if the roads would be safe on Saturday morning so that was that. I will be working with Iona College to see if we can come up with another date that suits, it can be difficult however, not only has Iona a busy program with the students but everyone involved also has fairly hectic calendars this semester. d used as the registration fee for the next date I felt it better to send a refund, just in case. We will start over with registrations as soon as a date is agreed upon.Nonetheless we hope to reschedule. In the meantime everyone who had registered and paid has been sent a refund.
